This StarTech.com active adapter connects an HDMI video source such as a laptop or desktop to a DisplayPort monitor or projector. It supports up to 4K 60Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.2, plus ultrawide resolutions up to 3440 x 1440 at 60Hz and 2-channel audio.

A 30cm cable between the HDMI and DP connectors reduces strain on ports, and power comes from an attached USB-A lead plugged into a nearby USB port or wall charger. Setup is plug and play on Windows, macOS, Ubuntu and ChromeOS.
