Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are. TAB Retail Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 7988399, VAT number GB 152 4670 19. Registered address: Unit 2 Littlehorn Industrial Estate, Thorn St, Woodville, Swadlincote, Derbyshire DE11 7DN. Contact: info@tab-retail.co.uk. These terms apply to purchases made through this website; buying from us on a marketplace (eBay, Amazon and others) is additionally governed by that marketplace's own terms.
2. Your order and our contract. Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we despatch your goods, not when payment is taken — if we cannot supply something (for example a pricing error or stock discrepancy), we will tell you and refund you in full before despatch. We may decline an order at our reasonable discretion. Products are available for delivery within the UK and to most international destinations; some items may be restricted from air or international carriage (for example items containing lithium batteries).
3. Prices and payment. Prices include UK VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details. Goods are not despatched until payment has cleared. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to supply at the wrong price and will offer you the correct price or a full refund.
4. Despatch and delivery. We despatch Monday to Friday; orders placed before 1pm are normally despatched the same working day. Mainland UK deliveries on our standard tracked services usually arrive the next working day after despatch. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, and other offshore addresses take longer, as do international deliveries. Delivery estimates are made in good faith but are not guaranteed; if your order hasn't arrived within the estimate, contact us and we will chase the carrier and put it right.
5. Risk and title. The goods are your responsibility from delivery to your address. Ownership passes on the later of delivery and receipt of cleared payment.
6. Returns — change of mind. We offer a 60-day return period: you may return any item within 60 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Goods should be unused, complete, and in their original packaging; we may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value from handling beyond what a shop would allow. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is your responsibility. This policy is more generous than, and includes, your statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Exceptions: software, licences and sealed consumables that have been unsealed or activated cannot be returned unless faulty; goods personalised or configured to your specification are excluded to the extent the law allows.
7. Faulty goods. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If an item is faulty you may reject it within 30 days for a full refund; after that we will repair or replace, and refund if we can't. We pay the return carriage on faulty goods — contact us first and we'll arrange or reimburse it.
8. Warranty. Brand-new goods carry the manufacturer's warranty. Refurbished and graded goods carry our own 12-month warranty unless a different period is stated on the listing (some items carry longer). The warranty covers functional defects; it does not cover accidental damage, cosmetic wear consistent with the stated grade, consumable parts, or battery capacity degradation through normal use. Warranty claims are handled by repair, replacement or refund at our option, alongside — never instead of — your statutory rights.
9. Refurbished goods. Much of our stock is professionally refurbished. Each listing states the item's condition and grade, including any cosmetic marks; the condition description forms part of what you're buying. Unless stated otherwise, refurbished items are fully tested and functional.
10. Our liability. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. If you buy as a business, statutory consumer protections do not apply.
11. Your data. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12. International orders. For deliveries outside the UK, you are the importer. Unless taxes were collected at checkout, any import VAT, duties or handling fees levied at the destination are your responsibility.
13. Events outside our control. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including carrier disruption, strikes, extreme weather, or failures of suppliers or infrastructure. We will tell you if such an event materially affects your order, and you may cancel undelivered goods for a full refund.
14. General. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. A failure by us to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement for your purchase and replace prior versions; the version in force when you order is the one that applies. We may update these terms from time to time — changes never apply retroactively to orders already placed. We may transfer our rights under the contract; you need our written consent to transfer yours. Formal notices may be given by email.
15. Law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
