This StarTech.com SFP+ module is built to be compatible with HPE J9150D and works in HPE switches such as the FlexFabric, 6120XG and 6120G. It carries 10Gbps 10GBASE-SR Ethernet over multimode fibre with an LC connector at 850nm, for distances up to 300m.

The module is hot-swappable and supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring, so most SNMP network management tools can report its status. It also works with MSA-compliant switches from brands such as Ubiquiti, D-Link, Netgear, Supermicro and TP-Link that accept uncoded modules. Typical power consumption is 1.3W.
