The APC Smart-UPS SMT1500RMI2UC is a 1500VA / 1000W line-interactive UPS in a 2U rackmount case. It supplies sine-wave power through four IEC C13 outlets and sounds an alarm when running on battery or when the battery is low.

The sealed lead acid battery can be hot-swapped and recharges in about three hours. An LCD display shows status, and the unit connects through USB, RJ-45 serial, a SmartSlot for optional cards and a SmartConnect port. Rack mount kit, USB and RS-232 cables are included.
