The Aruba J9281D is a passive SFP+ to SFP+ direct attach copper (DAC) cable rated for 10 Gbps. It has an SFP+ connector at each end and is 1 m long. Being passive, it needs no external power and draws about 0.1 W per end from the host port.
It is designed for SFP+ 10G ports on supported Aruba switches, including the 2540, 2930F, 2930M, 3810M, 3800 and 5400R series, as well as 4SFP+ modules such as the JL083A. Some AOS-CX platforms need software version 10.04.1000 or later.
