This multi-gigabit managed switch is designed for SOHO, SMB, and multi-dwelling unit network environments. Featuring eight 2.5 Gbps PoE ports alongside two 10 Gbps SFP+ uplinks, it delivers high-throughput connectivity to eliminate bottlenecks when linking Wi-Fi 6 access points and other high-bandwidth devices.

A Power over Ethernet budget of up to 240W supplies power directly over network cabling using IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. To protect connected hardware, all 2.5G ports incorporate 6 kV surge protection. Internal thermal management utilises an intelligent fan that operates across five automatic speeds, with quiet and off settings for sound-sensitive spaces.

Network administration is versatile, with support for web management, SNMP, D-Link Nuclias, and D-View 8. The DMS-1250 incorporates Layer 2 and Layer 3 capabilities, including 4,094 VLANs, QoS, Access Control Lists, and the D-Link Safeguard Engine to protect the system against traffic flooding.
