This passive adapter cable is designed to connect a computer or graphics card equipped with a DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor, television, or other display device. Measuring 2 metres in length, this black cable provides a direct connection to adapt your existing hardware for video and audio output.

The cable features a male DisplayPort connector on one end and a male HDMI connector on the other. It is compliant with DisplayPort version 1.1 and HDMI version 1.3b standards. The 20-pin DisplayPort interface was put forward by VESA as a royalty-free audio and video connection designed to replace older DVI and VGA standards.
