The HPE JH182A is a network module for the HP FlexFabric 5930 switch, which is the only compatible switch listed. It provides 24 RJ-45 10GBASE-T ports and 2 QSFP+ fibre ports.

The copper ports are 10 Gigabit Ethernet, support auto MDI-X and comply with IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3an. The module is listed with a data transfer rate of 40 Gbit/s and has connectivity LEDs. It measures 213.4 mm wide, 274.3 mm deep and 40.6 mm high, and weighs 1.95 kg.
