This rear expansion xPAK module adds versatile connectivity to compatible rugged laptops. Designed for Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 55 mk3 and TOUGHBOOK 56 devices, it integrates directly into the rear expansion bay using the supplied mounting screws. It allows field workers and technicians to expand hardware capabilities without requiring specialised external drivers.

The unit provides one USB Type-C port and one USB Type-A port, both running on the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard with transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. The USB Type-C interface operates strictly for high-speed data transmission and does not support Power Delivery or DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

Please note that this module is not compatible with earlier TOUGHBOOK 55 mk1 or mk2 laptops. In addition, it is not user-replaceable on laptops fitted with a dedicated GPU.
