Designed for automated production lines, packing stations, and conveyor systems, this compact industrial fixed-mount scanner delivers high-speed capture of 1D, 2D, and direct part marking (DPM) barcodes. It reliably reads codes etched or printed on metallic, plastic, curved, or textured materials.

Equipped with a 1920 x 800 pixel sensor scanning at 60 fps, the Unitech FC80 features a 650 nm laser aimer and a wide field of view to capture items in variable alignments. The unit supports both hands-free continuous presentation mode and external trigger mode, allowing straightforward integration into space-constrained machinery and kiosks.

The scanner connects directly to PLCs, industrial controllers, and PCs using Ethernet and RS-232 serial interfaces, with support for EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, TCP/IP, and PROFINET protocols. It provides IP54 dust and splash water protection, withstands drops of up to 1.2 metres to concrete, and operates in ambient temperatures from -10°C to 50°C.
