This rugged handheld barcode scanner is designed for point-of-sale, retail checkout, hospitality, light manufacturing, and office environments. Equipped with an SE4107 scan engine, the device quickly reads standard 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as OCR fonts, directly from printed labels, curved surfaces, and mobile screens.

Built for demanding daily use, the housing withstands repeated 2.1-metre drops to concrete and carries an IP42 rating for protection against dust and liquid splashes. Its trigger mechanism is tested for up to 10 million presses, while a loud beeper and bright LED indicators provide clear scan confirmation in noisy or dimly lit workspaces.

The Unitech MS852 connects via an included 1.9-metre USB cable and works with host computers and POS terminals running Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android. It supports USB-HID, Virtual COM, OPOS, and JPOS drivers, and can automatically switch to hands-free presentation mode when paired with a compatible stand.
