This StarTech.com PCIe serial card adds an RS232 DB9 port to a desktop or server, letting you connect devices such as card readers, printers, PIN pads and modems. It uses a 16950 UART on the ASIX AX99100A chipset.

Pin 9 can supply optional 5V or 12V power, and the card ships with a low-profile bracket fitted plus a full-profile bracket for standard cases. It supports Windows and Linux.
