The StarTech.com 5G4AC-USB-C-HUB adds four 5Gbps USB-A ports to a USB-C laptop or tablet, so you can connect keyboards, mice, flash drives and card readers. It needs no drivers and works with Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iPadOS and Android, including on Thunderbolt and USB4 hosts.
The hub is powered by the bus. It also has a 15W USB-C auxiliary input to power high-draw devices such as SSDs when you connect a standard USB-C charger, which is not included. Laptop charging is not supported. The built-in 30cm cable gives extra reach and puts less strain on the port of 2-in-1 devices.
